Eek! What have I gotten myself into?
Today was the first day that my husband went back to work, although the kids and I were alone Monday and Tuesday when my husband travelled for his father's funeral.
I barely managed to roll out of bed around NINE after a night of repeated awakenings and diaper changes for a sweet little boy. I'm not sure what my children had for breakfast. I have reached a point where "make up" and "deodorant" have tragically become optional in my book. Having my teeth brushed by 10 am is the sign of a good day.
Oh dear.
Obviously, I'm going to have to pray, pray, pray before I try to tackle next week. If I think that I somehow have this miraculous store of patience, optimism, and energy to get me through each day, I am fooling myself. I will state right now that ANY good thing that happens in homeschooling next week... any victories or fun moments... will be the result of God's grace, pure and simple.
Let's see how Jesus carries this family through!

you'll be great!
I can't remember if I told you, but I ordered Three Tales of my Father's Dragon from Amazon (for like 50 cents!) Madeleine is enjoying it so far!
