It is often difficult to find good Catholic Bible studies... they are often too watered down, or too blah, or whatever. I have been disappointed many times with various purchases that I have made.
Thankfully, there are some good Bible studies out there, and the COME AND SEE series is one of them! I am impressed with how well the authors (Fr. Ponessa and Laurie Watson Manhardt) introduce each section with a good overview of the chapters involved, followed by thoughtful questions that cover Scripture verses, references from the Catechism, as well as instances from the lives of the saints.
This study would (obviously) be quite helpful in a group setting, but could also be used for a family or personal study as well.
I am thankful I had a chance to look through such a wonderful study, and I look forward to buying more in the future!
