Super bad cold symptoms, high fever.... ugh. All of us are draped over couches and chairs, trying to find a little niche of comfort.
In the grand scheme of things, this is such a minor, minor cross... so why can't I carry this one with just a bit more dignity?
Update: Thank God dh is still home this week. After three hours at the doctor's office this afternoon, we have:
7 breathing treatments
7 kids on steroids
7 kids on sinus infection medicine
1 kid on ear infection medicine
and 4 kids taken for x-rays for pneumonia. (2 are clear, 2 are iffy)
I am still massively sick, and can't seem to get in to see MY doctor before New Year's.
As a sweet reminder, however, Sean was encouraging me (rather weakly) from the back of the van, saying, "Carry this cross with dignity, Mommy!"
Thank God for medicine, for insurance, and for a sweet dh who is home all week long.

even minor crosses are hard to bear. Praying for a fast recovery. Illness is hard in a large family.
Oh my goodness!!! Praying for all of you guys.
Ugh. Are things any better 2 days later???? Hope so. Praying for you, Ouiz!
Hugs,
Sadly, little has changed.
I will exuberantly embrace health when it returns!!!
