Anyone remember...

... the BBC comedy from the late 1970s called Bless Me, Father?

I used to watch this with my parents, so when I saw that NetFlix had it, I got disk 1 and 2. It's not hysterically funny (very few shows are), but it's a sweet comedy about an Irish priest and his new curate at St. Jude's Parish in 1950.

If nothing else, it reminds me of so many people in my childhood... whether in my own family, or at all the parochial schools I attended.

For a nice little trip down memory lane, I recommend this series.
