Just in case you were curious...

The results are in and -- no surprise here -- I'm carrying a boy.

How did I know? Very simple... with girls, I throw up many, many times a day; with boys, I don't. And with this pregnancy, other than a twinge or two of nausea, I've felt nothing. I haven't been affected by smells... haven't been repulsed by vegetables (an unfortunate 1st trimester phenomenon for me, usually. Otherwise, I luuuuuuuuv vegetables)... and (big praise God, here) I haven't had to make the traditional daily "whopper and fries run"  that I normally have to do during the 1st trimester.

I felt so good... and normal... that I was actually worried that something was seriously wrong with the baby!

But, so far everything looks good. I do ask for your continued prayers, though!


In answer to other questions, yes, we do have a name picked out, but since I don't share my kids' names on my blog, I can't tell you what it is! For blogging purposes, however, we'll just call him Joseph.

The kids are very excited, and glad that we'll finally "even things up" in terms of boys and girls.
