Adventures of Super Scuba and Granny, part 1

Subtitled: Fun with a camera on a rainy afternoon, which turned into Daddy's Father's Day book.

Let us introduce you to our cast of characters.

These are our heroes -- Super Scuba and Granny...

And these are our villians -- the evil Leaf Man with Sparkles, the attack giraffe...

...and the "too-cute-for-words" dragon, who is an integral part in our story.

It was a quiet day in Anyville. These innocent bystanders were partaking of their daily carrot feast...

When suddenly, the evil, dastardly Leaf Man and his sidekick, Sparkles, snuck in through the window...

...dragged off the innocent bystanders, and locked them in their hideout.

“Oh no! This is terrible!”

“I must call for help!”

Thankfully, our superhero friends, Super Scuba and Granny, heard the call and came itchin’ for a fight.

Super Scuba rears back and delivers a stinging slap...

SMACK!

SMACK!

...with Granny delivering the final blow, and the “too-cute-for-words” dragon
tossing off a final taunting.

Sparkles proves to be a worthy adversary. No one expected the giraffe to put up such a fight. After a fierce struggle, however, Granny manages to defeat her soundly.

With the bad guys vanquished, Super Scuba races to the hideout and rescues the prisoners...

“We’re saved! Thank you, Super Scuba and Granny!”

We hope you’ve enjoyed our little show!

I don't usually comment on pictures of other people's kids, but this is SO CUTE. Love Sparkles the Attack Giraffe. I have a little teeny-tiny one year old girl who wander around roaring, and this reminds me of her. :) thanks for sharing your fun!

Thanks for your nice comments! Grace had been wearing the scuba mask for most of that morning, so the kids started calling her Super Scuba. And then when I suggested we make a book for Daddy, they ran and got these costumes on, and I said, "What kind of story are we supposed to make from all this???" We laughed and then made it up as I was taking the pictures.

I think my personal favorite is "Sparkles proved to be a worthy adversary. No one expected the giraffe to put up such a fight."

Cydney, thank you so much! We were having a good laugh over here as well as I was typing up the book for my husband... and he loved Sparkles the giraffe, too! [I'm trying to remember... either she named herself or one of her older sisters did. Either way, we thought it was pretty funny.]
