Her husband, Michael Dubriel, passed away yesterday.
I had the privilege of meeting both Amy and her husband at the Catholic blogger's conference in Atlanta last year. I was able to thank Michael for writing the book The How To Book of the Mass, telling him how much it meant to my Bible study group. All of us, cradle Catholics and converts alike, learned so much from that little book. (If you don't have a copy of it, I encourage you to go out and get one!)
May God grant Michael rest, and may He grant Amy and her family a shower of graces and tangible manifestations of His love as they go through this horrible time.

Ouiz, I've been meaning to ask you for a while for the title of a mass book you've written about several times. You've mentioned asking God to tell you one thing at each mass, for instance. Is it this book of Michael's?
You must be so glad you had a chance to tell him how much his work meant to you.
