It's snowing!

Yes, it's time again for our annual dusting of snow here in South Carolina! I would hazard a guess that right now we've got about 1/8" of snow (yeah, that's right. One eighth of an inch) and the grocery stores are pretty darn full.

Bread aisle? Decimated. Nothing left.

Milk? Still decently stocked, but the night is young.

I passed a college guy, two cases of beer in hand, telling his friend that they were going to get blitzed this evening because, "you know classes will be cancelled."

And they will be.

When I pulled into my driveway I could hear the sounds of college guys down the street whooping and hollering in the snow.

My kids begged to go out in it this evening (in the dark) before it all melts away.

Such is winter here in South Carolina!

Oh, this is too funny! But, I grew up in the southeast and remember this very well! Here in Colorado, if you can get your car out of the driveway, schools are open. And, I don't think I've ever heard of a run on the grocery stores; we all have emergency blizzard supplies stored up already, I guess. Enjoy!
