Can't believe I never mentioned this

But since Thomas has been potty-trained (at 3 1/2... remember, we train them late here, folks! Saves me a whole lot of grief...), I only have

ONE CHILD IN DIAPERS.

Yep.

For the first time in TEN YEARS, I have only ONE CHILD IN DIAPERS.

Wow.

Of course, that will change in oh, about 11 weeks or so when "Grace" gets here, but until then, let me bask in the joy of having only ONE CHILD IN DIAPERS. (We've had three in diapers several times in our parenting career.)

I just thought that little milestone needed to be shared!

Oh! That is so wonderful for you!!!

I know you feel good about this!

(I *still* have two in diapers - who will learn first, in a year or two or three?)

Well, it's kind of expected that you will have two in diapers! *grin*

Congratulations! I am on the opposite end of the spectrum - I will have no little ones in diapers next month. And I am so, so, so sad. :(

Wow! Your sweet little girl is almost potty-trained ALREADY?? That's amazing!

I know a part of me WILL be sad when my last child grows out of the infant stage and moves on. I will be painfully aware of the passing of time, the passing of their childhood, and I'm sure that my dh will get more than his fair share of "soggy shoulders" as I cry over what no longer is.

But for *right now* I can say what a relief it is for me to not have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on packages of diapers!

And Beth, if you're reading this, God bless you in your cloth diaper endevours! I was never so brave!

I'm reading it, and you wouldn't BELIEVE how easy it is!
I met 2 moms at the conference this past weekend and they both used cloth diapers. They had the babies in disposables for the weekend though, and they were both bummed because they had blowouts and had to change clothes. I can say in about 3 months of using cloth, I have never once had a blowout. They were daily occurences in disposables though!

And is your daughter going to be named Grace or is that just what you're calling her right now? If it's Grace, I vote for Grace Elizabeth :)

I still do the cloth thing, if I'm not going out - I feel the 'pain' of the money going 'down the drain' (as it were) with my two :)

c'mon Ouiz, you need to join us - come to the cloth side...... ;)
