One of my favorite "stops" in the blogging world is Happy Catholic. She always has great stuff out there, whether it is book reviews, quotes, fun trivia, or articles that really make me stop and think. Please make sure you take a look -- it's always well worth it!
In the meantime, I want to point out two articles that she had on her blog site. The first comes from Defensor Veritatis, and is a wonderful (wonderful, wonderful) article on spending time before the Blessed Sacrament. Anyone who has had the opportunity to spend time like this before the Lord can relate to the experience he shares.
Then she also points out the trailer for the new movie, God Grew Tired Of Us. This is the story of the Lost Boys of the Sudan and the experiences they had trying to adapt to a new life in America. This looks like a movie that I will jump to see as soon as it comes out! (and that's saying quite a bit, since I don't go out to movies very often... you know, six small kids... hard to find someone willing to babysit... blah blah blah. It's just easier for us to wait until it comes out on DVD...)
On the homeschooling front, I will point out once again that Katherine from A Living Education is putting together some Catholic copywork books for beginners, those more advanced, and those learning cursive/italic. Please check out her site and let her know what you think!
Make sure you also take a few minutes to check out the beautiful O Antiphon Houses that she highlights on her site!
