Dove's "Campaign for Real Beauty"

 I've seen this short clip on many different blogs, but I think it is worth posting here. It is part of Dove's "Campaign for Real Beauty," and it shows the evolution of a woman from "normal" to "model." The changes that they make to "tweak" her image are startling.

HOLY COW!!!!!

I *knew* that models in photos were air-brushed, but I totally never thought about the digital manipulation(s) that could occur!

Why bother having a *real* model anyway?

Isn't it amazing? (in a sad sort of way). We as a society are comparing ourselves to a standard that doesn't even exist...
